The Coastal Bend Community Foundation donated Thursday the last of half a million dollars to local organizations who suffered severe damage during Hurricane Harvey.
Three Port Aransas non-profits received $90,000, which is the last of $500,000 distributed to organizations.
Members of the community expressed gratitude as they continue to move forward.
"Having everyone like I said in the community and all various organizations pulling together to support Port Aransas has been overwhelming," Jenny Daily said.
The money raised for the grants came from the Foundation and donations from outside groups.
